To ensure freshness of our diets, we take a number of steps to ensure both the meats,and veggies used are handled hygienically, and stored propely to prevent bacterial contamination.
To help ensure this step, we make use of only stainless steel mixing bowls and utensils. Along with this step, only one type of meat is prepared at a time. This allows for no cross contamination of the diffrent diets, or individual orders.
All vegetables are washed twice to ensure the continuous clean, sanitary conditions the diets are prepared in.
Diets are then sealed in an air tight heat sealed package. Package sizes are determined by order specifications, weighed , and are made in accordance with your specific order.
Packages are then placed directly into a freezer where they wait to be shipped or delivered within the 24-48hrs time frame we have set up for this step in our process. NO DIETS ARE KEPT BEYOND THIS POINT.
Once your order has been delivered or shipped we require that you handle the diets the same way you would handle raw meat products that you use for yourself.
Diets should not be allowed to sit out for too long, and wash hands properly anytime handling raw meats. Again this is important to maintain the freshness and the sanitary quality of our product.
To ensure the maintanace of our diets nutritional value, we recommend that diets be removed from the freezer, and placed directly into a container of warm water. This process should allow the diets to thaw slowly, and properly.
Packages can be ordered, in 1lb, 2lbs, 3lbs, 5lbs, or 10lb bags. Any size can be made to fit your need, upon SPECIAL REQUEST. We recommend the larger bags for multiple dog households only!!!!
